In principle, volumetric feeding is the simplest & most economical feeding solution available for feeding bulk material. Bulk material is held in feeder hopper and constantly fed into a process per unit of time by varying screw speed. A controlled feed rate may be achieved through a calibration process where a timed sample is taken and weighed, and screw speed adjusted accordingly. Although there is no weight feedback to assure feeding accuracy over time, this may not be a concern for materials with consistent bulk density application. By using over volumetric single screw feeders, with their exchangeable screw design choices, you can handle a wide range of applications involving prefeeding, feeding or batching of materials that have a consistent density,particle size and moisture content. Materials such as difficult flowing powders spell trouble for even the toughest standard metering feeders, therefore instead of incorporating traditional internal stirring or agitation paddles to keep the material moving, our model V-SSF1 is equipped with preferred simple pneumatically operated vibrators (optional) whicha are mounted externally to eliminate bridging and rat holing of the material giving it a conditioned uniform bulk density, to evenly fill the flights of the feed screw. The result is excellent volumetric control. Volumetric feeding deviations range from +/- 1.0% to 3% for most of the easy to fair flowing materials. Controller

  • Remote operation of the feeder is possible with analog input of 0-10V or 4-20mA
  • The RPM indicator mounted on the control panel can be programmed in user settable units like Kg/hr or gm/min etc., once calibrated for a given material.

Application:-

The KC-V-T feeder is designed to provide volumetric feeding program for a wide variety of materials including poor flowing powders, fibers and flakes.

 

Design:-

Twin screw feeder with interchangeable feed screws is mounted on painted steel base plate. All material contact parts are stainless steel. The feeder is easily disassembled for cleaning or change over. Special design of feeding bowl is unique and patented, horizontal agitator is equipped to improve material filling into screw flight.

 

Controller :-

The KCV control system allows for easy adjustment and precise control. Each feeder’s governor is selected by customers to fulfill open-loop control.

The KC-LW-T feeder is designed to provide high accuracy and feeding program for a wide variety of materials including poor flowing powders, fibers and flakes.

 

Design:-

 

Twin screw feeder with interchangeable feed screws is mounted on C2 scale. The scale is stainless steel and the scale housing is completely enclosed. All material contact parts are stainless steel. The feeder is easily disassembled for cleaning or change over. Special design of feeding bowl is unique and patented, horizontal agitator is equipped to improve material filling into screw flight. Vertical agitator is an option for poor flowing powder in case of bridging.

The KCC operation interface allows for individual unit and receipe control. Each feeder has its own control board. Connection between feeder, control boards and operation interface is via industrial protocol.
