Dual screw volumetric feeder is applicable where powder/material to be feed is lumpy, sticky, moist, or bridge building materials

The peculiarly designed hopper reliably prevents bridge-building of cohesive bulk materials. This special hopper can be used with all our volumetric feeders in place of the standard hoppers

Materials with poor flow can be equipped with simple pneumatically operated vibrators (optional) which are mounted externally to eliminate bridging and rat holing of the material giving it a conditioned uniform bulk density, to evenly fill the flights of the feed screw. The result is excellent volumetric control.

Volumetric feeding deviations range from +/- 1.0% to 3% for most of the easy to fair flowing materials.

Controller

•   Each feeder has its own variable speed control module with speed Feedback Display.
•   Remote operation of the feeder is possible with analog input of 0-10V or 4-20mA
•   The RPM indicator mounted on the control panel can be programmed in user settable units like Kg/hr or gm/min etc., once calibrated for a given material.

Design

•   Twin Screw feeder comes with variety of feeding screws in the range of diameter and pitch with interchangeable feed screws as part of its modular design.
•   Easily exchangeable feeding tools for adoption of various bulk materials & feed rates.
•   All parts in contact with the material being fed are of stainless steel.
•   Feeder is easy to disassemble for quick cleaning and change-over.

Application

Twin screw volumetric feeders handle more difficult materials such as pigments, sticky, bridging or flooding powders, fiber and fiberglass, difficult powders (e.g. lumpy, moist, or bridge building materials)
