In principle, Volumetric Feeding is the simplest & most economical feeding solution available for feeding bulk material. Single Screw Volumetric Feeders is made of Controller, High quality Stainless Steel Hopper/Silo, Screw, & Base Plate. Bulk material is held in feeder hopper and constantly fed into a process per unit of time by varying screw speed. Screws are designed based on feeding material & its bulk density, to achieve desired feed rate. And the required rate of flow of material can be regulated by Controller, which allows us to change the RPM of AC motor required to obtain the desired feed rate. By using over Volumetric Single Screw Feeders, with their exchangeable screw design choices, you can handle a wide range of applications involving pre-feeding, feeding or batching of materials that have a consistent density, particle size and moisture content.

Volumetric feeding deviations range from +/- 1.0% to 3% for most of the easy to fair flowing materials.

Controller
  • Each feeder has its own variable speed control module with speed Feedback Display.
  • Remote operation of the feeder is possible with analog input of 0-10V or 4-20mA
  • The RPM indicator mounted on the control panel can be programmed in user settable units like Kg/hr or gm/min etc., once calibrated for a given material.
Design
  • Single Screw feeder comes with variety of feeding screws in the range of diameter and pitch.
  • Easily exchangeable feeding tools for adoption of various bulk materials & feed rates.
  • All parts in contact with the material being fed are of stainless steel.
Application
  • Volumetric ,feeders have wide application in industry wherever dry free-flowing powders, Granules, Crystals, or Pellets are used.
